HUMANIDAD
Humanidad is a photographic project involving young people and workshop facilitators from different regions of Quebec and from some Latin American countries. This project consists in providing workshops on learning the role of light in photography and allows cultural exchanges that contribute to the promotion of culture through that artistic medium.
The mobile workshops based on the role of light in photography are used again within the framework of Humanidad. The suggested subject «My life environment» leads the young to portray their district. In each one of the areas where the project is carried out, the participants are asked to write a text presenting their pictures. All the collected pictures and texts make up a documentary shown in exhibitions. The latter reveal the cultural differences and similarities between the young people of Quebec and Latin America.

Training workshop facilitators
The equipment needed to carry on with the workshops is given to the person in charge of the areas where DIASOL runs the Humanidad project.
